GREENWOOD - Check out the City of Greenwood's Facebook page for photos from Main Street Greenwood's 'Que on the Yazoo BBQ Festival, which was held on Saturday, May 22 in downtown Greenwood.
The weekend consisted of a BBQ contest with fourteen cooking teams, the Y'all Magazine Sweet Tea Challenge, Delta Artisan Showcase (including pottery, original art, and vendors from the Downtown Greenwood Farmers Market) and three musical acts.
Despite hot, humid weather a crowd of people showed up to hear the awards ceremony, which resulted in the Viking Cooking Team being named Grand Master of the contest. For more information on other Main Street events, please visit the Main Street Greenwood Web site.
